Hello world!

Welcome to www.lotsamoney.wordpress.com. This blog site is named lotsamoney because this is a money making site. Hopefully, it will live up true to its name and money will be flowing in not only for me but to you as well, dear readers. I’ll be blogging here how to make money online, get some tips from other Internet gurus and share them with you. This is a humble beginning of a great site and you are a witness to its transformation. This will be my testimony, a proof of God’s providence! Please continue to be with me as we travel along this journey, picking money along the way!      

Let me tell you a bit of myself. I’m a Filipino, a devoted husband and a father of 3 lovely children. I’m currently working in an 8-hour job at TeleTech Philippines which is a call center BPO. However, I’m keen on resigning from my job so I can devote myself to working home-based through the Internet and earn more money! I want to be my “own boss and work on my pyjamas”, I know, is already a cliche but I want that kind of freedom. I want to be able to go to a beach or to a mountain top or to Starbucks and work from there. 

Perhaps, the most contributing factor on why I want to quit my office job is the never-ending gasoline price increases! My Toyota Revo used to consume one full tank of gasoline in a week of going back and forth to the office but now, after the fourth day, my car would be running out of gas. I live in Caloocan City (in Novaliches area) and I work in Pasay City (in front of the Mall of Asia). As to when this price increases will end, nobody knows, so I would take the easy way out. I’m going to work from home!

I’m not jumping into this blindly, as some of you might think. Currently, I have a steady stream of Virtual Assistant jobs online mostly on Internet research, data entry and article writing.  Next week, I will be in an online training with Optrack. It will be a home-based outbound call handling wherein I will be calling CFOs of Canadian companies and try to schedule them for an online demonstration of my new company’s software. I will keep you posted on this. For now, just the thought of resigning from the confining 8-hour job already gives me the feeling of release - a freedom to fly!
